At Wholesome Bible Church, we believe in the pure and undefiled religion that cares for the most vulnerable among us—widows and children in need (James 1:27). Our Widows & Indigent Children Support Ministry is a vibrant outreach arm dedicated to demonstrating the love of Christ through practical support, compassion, and consistent care.
Our Mission
To provide holistic support—spiritual, emotional, medical, and material—to widows and indigent children in our community, thereby restoring dignity and hope to lives often forgotten.
What We Do For Widows:
Food Supplies: We provide regular distributions of food staples to ease daily living burdens.
Medical Care: Access to basic health services and periodic wellness checks.
Financial Support: Assistance for emergency needs and small-scale business support.
What We Do For Indigent Children:
Educational Support: Payment of school fees, provision of books, uniforms, and other academic materials.
Health Care: Funding for medical treatment and routine health needs to ensure the well-being of every child under our care.
Our Approach
Every outreach is guided by compassion, accountability, and a commitment to long-term impact. We work closely with families and Partner schools to ensure that every intervention is meaningful and sustainable.
At Wholesome Bible Church, we believe caring for widows is not just charity but obedience to God’s Word. Scripture is clear: “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress…” (James 1:27). The Bible repeatedly commands us to defend and support them (Deut. 10:18, Isa. 1:17).
Our Widows’ Care Ministry is born out of this conviction—to provide encouragement, practical support, and a family of faith to those who may feel forgotten. By standing with widows, we honor Christ and reflect His compassion.
